GitHub I’m currently interning at Tesla as a Site Reliability Engineer. In spring 2025, I took courses in Distributed and Operating Systems, Optimization in Computer Science, and Machine Learning. I also worked under Prof. Prashant Shenoy at the Laboratory for Advanced System Software on a carbon resource-aware computing project. In my first semester, I completed courses such as Neural Networks, Computer Networks and Security, and Methods of Applied Statistics, which helped strengthen my foundation in AI and systems. Building on this knowledge, I recently completed a project titled “Mitigating Bias in Facial Recognition using the Seldonian Framework,” where I explored fairness in machine learning models. I've previously worked at iD Tech as an AI & ML Instructor, Oracle Financial Software Services as a Software Consultant, PhonePe as a Site Reliability Engineer Intern for their ETC Team, and Kohort, as a Design Intern.
When I'm not in classes or working, I'm probably chilling with friends, singing, brushing up on my Korean, or crossing off another item on my bucket list. I was the lead vocalist in my band back in India. You can check out my covers on Instagram!
We designed and implemented a socket-based stock trading client and order service with a custom thread pool and synchronization for concurrent requests.
We aimed to address bias in facial recognition systems by utilizing the Seldonian framework to implement fairness-aware constraints. Our work involved conducting a comprehensive comparative analysis of fairness-aware models (e.g., those enhanced with Seldonian constraints) and fairness-unaware models, such as ResNet50 and VGG16. The study highlighted significant improvements in both fairness metrics and overall model performance, showcasing the potential of integrating fairness considerations into state-of-the-art facial recognition systems.
Developed soil analysis system in Karnataka using NPK, humidity, and moisture sensors. Predicted ideal crops based on sensed data using GaussianNB classifier and created an Android app for convenient access.
Created an online drug store website for selling/buying products using simple PHP and MySQL queries. Designed UI and built a responsive frontend interface using HTML/CSS/JS.
